| 内容記述 | Echigo-Monjo-Hokanshu （historical documents of the Echigo region） and Nakajoke-Monjo （historical documents written by Nakajo） are the ancient writings of Buke （samurai families） in Niigata. This study examines the Japanese used in the Echigo region in the middle ages as seen in historical documents written by men.The results indicated that: 1. there are features of present-day Niigata dialect such as alternation of “i”（い） and “e” （え）. On the other hand, many of the non-euphonic change forms used in the documents are different from those in present-day Niigata dialect. 2. the speed of change in written characters indicating geminate consonants in historical documents written by men is different from those written by women. 3. there are many incorrect conjugations in the texts. 4. the language of historical documents in the Echigo region in the middle ages is comparable with the present-day Niigata dialect. |

| 内容記述 | 本稿は、「越後文書宝翰集」と「中条家文書」という中世の越後地方に伝来した文書のうち、男性文書について言語分析を行った。その結果、以下のことを記述、考察した。 1．iとeのような音韻の交替など、現在の新潟方言に見られる言語事項が、本文書群においても見られる。一方で、音便のように現在の新潟方言の特徴とは異なる言語事項もあった。 2．促音の表記を女性文書と比較すると、その変遷速度は男女間でも位相差があることが分かった。 3．活用語の接続に本来の正用とは異なる形での使用が多くあった。 4．本文書群のような中世の越後下越地方文書を分析対象とする事によって、現代の新潟方言との比較が可能であることが分かった。 |
