 note = {Infrared (IR) spectroscopy was applied for the analysis of some conventional packaging films. The films were classified by the IR absorption bands specific of polymer constituents as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride and polyester. It was also indicated that some films are consisted of copolymers such as poly (ethylene-vinyl acetate), poly (vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride) and contain additives e.g. plasticizer or softener.},
