| 内容記述 | In the body of the alternative, or second lineage, version of the Tale of Sagoromo, there are many unique variants and omissions. These variants and omissions are mutually related to each other, shaping the image of the main character, who seems modern, as he slides into suppressing himself for the affection of his parents. By specific elaboration of the first half of the First Volume, we show that the alternative version deserves a certain literary evaluation despite being an adaptation and not an original. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 『狭衣物語』の異本系（別称・第二系統）の本文には、この系統のみに確認できる独自異文や省略が数多くある。それらは相互に関連し合いながら、両親の愛情ゆえに自己を抑圧してゆくという、見方によっては近代的な主人公像を形作っている。原典(オリジナル)ではない、改作である異本系（別称・第二系統）本文が、一定の評価に値する文学性を備えていることを、巻一の前半部分を取り上げ、具体的に考究する。 | |||||
